Moshi Monsters

Moshi Monsters is my latest obsession, the game that made me want to start this blog. It's a flash game, which is always a plus in my book, not many of the non-flash pet games live up to expectations anymore, and it's all about collecting, which is my favorite thing in any game.

You can make an account free and adopt a moshi monster (choose wisely at signup, you will only have one), and then you can play all sorts of mini-games and complete quests to level up your monster. However, the best parts of the game - much better quests, better mini games and (most importantly) collecting critters called moshlings - require a membership. There are some moshlings that you can get without a membership, but you can only have 2 at a time because you won't have access to your zoo (storage for moshlings).

The price of membership isn't bad, though. If you're like me and prefer to pay monthly (because I never know how long I'll stick with a game), it's $5.95 a month, but if you pay for a year of membership it works out to $4.16 a month. Don't go with the 6 month subscription. It costs more than month to month for some reason.

Clicking the picture above will take you to the website if you want to try this game out. You can also visit my house and add me as a friend: anastasiasky

Stay tuned! I've got a some super-simple, easy to follow walk throughs of the super moshi missions coming up, and each mission ends with a new moshling for you! You do need to be a member to play them, though, with a free account you can only play the first mission.
